Voluntary Energy Audits
Micro-enterprises, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), are not required to conduct energy audits according to the Energiedienstleistungsgesetz (EDL-G). However, it makes sense to become aware of the energy flows in one's own company and to look for optimization potentials. Therefore, the federal government supports SMEs in conducting energy audits with up to 80% of the associated costs to create incentives to reduce the overall energy consumption across the board.
